Our Process

White-Glove Coating,
Start to Finish

You ship us the part. We handle everything else, from inspection and stripping to abrasive blasting, base coat, and the final finish. No prep required on your end.

A question we hear every day

“Do I need to prep or strip my parts first?”

No. We do it all, from start to finish. Drop off or ship us your parts
exactly as they are, coated, rusty, or raw, and we take it from there.

How It Works

Six Steps to a Finish That Lasts

Every part follows the same disciplined process, from a single custom piece to a full production run. It is how we deliver finishes that look right and stay that way.

01

Intake & Inspection

When your parts arrive, we log and inspect every piece, then confirm the finish, color, and any masking up front. Nothing moves forward until we know exactly what the job needs.

02

Strip the Old Coating

Old paint, powder, Cerakote, rust, and oil all come off first. We take each part back to clean, sound base material, because a new finish is only as good as what sits underneath it.

03

Abrasive Blast for Adhesion

We abrasive-blast every surface to a uniform profile, the tooth that lets the coating physically lock to the metal. This mechanical adhesion is the biggest reason our finishes hold up.

04

Manufacturer-Spec Base Coat

Where the finish calls for it, we lay the correct primer or base coat to each coating manufacturer’s specification. The right foundation keeps the topcoat even, durable, and true to color.

05

Coating Application

Our certified team applies your finish, Cerakote, powder coat, or hydrographics, to precise film thickness in a controlled booth. Even coverage, crisp masked lines, and the exact color you approved.

06

Cure, Inspect & Return

Each finish is cured at its specified temperature, then inspected one last time against your spec. We package everything carefully for pickup or shipping across the US, Canada, and overseas.

Why Surface Profile Matters

Coatings Fail When the Prep Is Skipped

A finish is only as good as the surface underneath it. Spray over a smooth, oily, or previously coated part and that coating will chip, peel, and lift.

We abrasive-blast every part to a uniform surface profile so the coating grips mechanically, not just chemically. That one step is the difference between a finish that looks good on day one and one that still looks good years of hard use later.

Common Questions

Prep, Process & Turnaround

Do I need to prep or strip my parts before sending them?

No. We handle 100% of the prep, including inspection, stripping the old coating, and abrasive blasting for adhesion. Send your parts exactly as they are, coated, rusty, or raw.

Yes. Removing existing coatings, rust, oil, and contaminants is a standard part of our process before we re-prep and recoat the part.

It creates mechanical adhesion, a fine surface profile the coating can physically grip, so the finish bonds and lasts rather than relying on chemical adhesion alone.

Cerakote is a thin-film ceramic, roughly the thickness of a sheet of paper, so it keeps tolerances. We also mask threads and critical surfaces so the finish goes only where it should.

The same workflow runs for Cerakote, powder coating, hydrographics, aviation, and mil-spec finishes. We match the base coat and cure schedule to the finish you choose.

It depends on the finish and the size of the run, but most projects ship within 5 to 10 business days. We confirm timing when we send your quote.

Both. A single custom part and a 24/7 OEM production run go through the same disciplined steps and the same quality check.

Yes. We serve customers across the United States and Canada and ship internationally to Europe and Asia.
